ORIGIN

The security measures outlined in DNP TS 4577-1 2021 originate from national frameworks such as the National Cybersecurity Reference Framework (QNRCS), the Roadmap for Minimum Cybersecurity Capabilities and the Cybersecurity Capability Assessment Framework.

APPLICABILITY

Cybersecurity certification is applicable to all organizations, regardless of industry, type, or size, with a special focus on micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that wish to demonstrate their compliance in the Cybersecurity pillar.
Each legal entity will have its own certification and digital seal, which is not cumulative for multiple organizations in a group that combines different legal entities.

WHAT DIGITAL CYBERSECURITY SEALS EXIST?

Based on the required certification level, one of the maturity seals will be awarded.
These levels increase in complexity regarding the requirements and the verification methodology during the audit.
We help your organization apply for the certification level that best suits its capabilities, size, structure, mission, and ambition, with the opportunity to continuously improve and achieve higher certification levels.

DIGITAL MATURITY SEAL BRONZE

Simple measures that increase the organization's protection against the most common and harmful cybersecurity risks.
For smaller organizations, with less preparation or few human and technical resources to face cybersecurity risks, or organizations with lower cybersecurity needs.

DIGITAL MATURITY SEAL SILVER

Intermediate complexity measures, for which compliance with the requirements of this level and the previous level (bronze) must be demonstrated.
For organizations with cybersecurity capabilities beyond the basic level, medium-sized organizations, or those with greater cybersecurity needs due to higher reliance on cybersecurity for the success of their operations.

DIGITAL MATURITY SEAL GOLD

Intended for organizations with advanced cybersecurity capabilities and technical and human resources, with a high need for protection of networks and information. For organizations where cybersecurity is essential to their critical functions and activities, or for those where a cybersecurity incident could jeopardize the organization itself.
Compliance with the requirements of this level and the previous levels (Bronze and Silver) must be demonstrated.

WHICH SEAL IS IDEAL FOR MY ORGANIZATION?

This answer can be provided by WeSecure with complete certainty!

We help initiate the implementation process after conducting an independent and objective pre-assessment, based on a set of evidence that allows us to evaluate and determine whether it is sufficient to achieve compliance with the cybersecurity management process or if there is room for improvement.
If so, we provide, in addition to the current state report (as-is), an estimate of the effort and cost required.

We will base our approach on the normative document, primarily Annex A "Cybersecurity Measures which includes the cumulative prescriptive controls by certification levels (technical, human, and organizational components) that your organization can apply for.

Annex B, on the other hand, includes a list of mandatory evidence that will need to be provided to the certification body before the audit, serving as the basis for the audit preparation.

Please note that the Digital Seal certification can only be obtained if full compliance with all the requirements of Annex A is demonstrated, applicable to the certification level your organization seeks to achieve.

The Digital Maturity certification is an initiative supported by the Portugal Digital Mission Structure (EMPD), which contributes to funding within the scope of the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR).
The certification is valid for 3 years, with annual maintenance audits.
