The platform automatically provides an external access form so that anyone, either identified or anonymously, can submit a report as required by Law No. 93/2021, of December 20.
If someone submits a report, it is categorized into a specific type and directly enters the platform.
Next, the responsible examiners (delegates defined on the platform) are notified, access the platform, and proceed with the necessary analysis, giving the appropriate follow-up.
Often, to provide the necessary follow-up, there is a need to request additional information from the whistleblower, especially when the description of the report is not sufficiently clear or complete.
In these cases, the platform allows interaction with the whistleblower (even when anonymity was requested).
All interactions, communication history, and internal follow-ups are recorded in the case.
The delegated responsible (to properly handle the report) can record all follow-up actions, with the flexibility to specify at that moment whether the record of actions should be for internal consultation only or if the whistleblower should also be informed. In other words, the responsible party determines, throughout the process, which follow-ups should be visible to the whistleblower.
It should also be noted that all records are encrypted, and it is guaranteed that only the designated examiners can decrypt the report information
All attached files and voice recordings are also encrypted and are not readable on the server side, whether the platform is hosted on your server or on WeSecure's server.
